Official directions for southbound drivers say to take Exit 98, bear right at the end of the ramp, proceed north on Route 100 toward Dublin, move into the right-turn lane near the second stoplight about 0.8 mile later, turn right, bear hard right onto Newbern Road, and continue about 0.6 mile to the jail entrance on the left across from the cemetery.

Northbound drivers use Exit 98, cross the median, turn left onto north Route 100, pass under I-81, continue toward Dublin, use the right-turn lane at the second stoplight about 1 mile later, turn and bear onto Newbern Road, then continue about 0.6 mile to the entrance. Official sources inspected did not publish parking rates, bus routes, rail access, or a separate ADA entrance description.
